This collection is dedicated to all the cereals that ever contained marshmallows. In the cereal world, tiny marshmallows are referred to as "marbits" (think "marshmallows" + "bits"). According to cereal mascot expert Topher Ellis, the very first marbit was developed in 1963 by a General Mills Vice President named John Holahan. Holahan got the idea after he chopped up some marshmallow Circus Peanuts and stirred them into a bowl of Cheerios. The first cereal to contain marbits was Lucky Charms. Take a look at all the marshmallow cereals that followed. It's Marshmallow Madness!!
