Froot Loops With Melonberry Pink

Let's face it: Froot Loops never really tasted like fruit. Sure, there's a distinct citrus feeling, but no one goes in expecting each crunchy nuggets to taste just like the fruit their colors represent. Froot Loops is a distinct taste unto itself. I would like to see other cereals introduce "Froot Loop Berries" to their nuggets.

As to be expected, the new pink melonberry nuggets don't taste much like melon. Like their colored counterparts, these nuggets absorb the taste and smell of the box. If you concentrate, you might sense a hint of melon flavor. This may be due more to imagination than sensory awareness.

The bottom line is that pink melonberries neither add nor detract from the Froot Loops you are accustom to. And while, pink is a girl's color and Toucan Sam is supposedly male, I will refrain from sexism and give the new cereal the same ranking as original Froot Loops.
