Amy's was excellent but ownership has changed, and with that the quality has gone down hill. The worst part is they wont fix issues with the meal. Every restaurant has bad days and you may get a bad meal. Just about anywhere we have gone would go out of their way to fix meal related issues. Not this place. I will highlight two incidences. One time we got some toast and it had mold on it. I sent it back and the cook simply threw it away. No sorry, no new toast, no taking it off the bill either, no nothing. For what ever reason we gave the place more chances and there were small anomalies with the food but never complained again, until today. We ordered a pepperoni and cheese omelet and it came with no cheese. Sent it back and the owner said there was cheese in there. I wish I took a picture, it was bone dry with no cheese in the omelet, even the waitress agreed. The owner made us feel like we were trying to steal cheese or something. We strongly recommend never to go there.

I HAVE BEEN TO MANY ,MANY BREAKFAST RESTAURANTS MOST LIKELY EVERYONE IN PAWTUCKET AN UP AN DOWN EAST COAST FROM TRAVELING WITH THE RACE TEAM AND THIS PLACE IS BUY FAR THE BEST FOOD AND SERVICE I HAVE HAD. ORDER THE BIG BOY YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED

We saw the new signs for the restaurant go up and we decided to give it a try. Boy are we happy that we did.
My husband ordered what is called "Buford's Big Boy Breakfast" which comes with 2 eggs, 2 toast, 2 pancakes, 2 bacon and a large pork chop! If you eat the whole thing then you get a Bumper Sticker and a handshake from Buford (which my husband did, of course)
I had the Marinated Steak Tips and I have to say that they are incredible. I have always been a fan of Chelo's Tips up until now, but will go to Buford's from now on.
The Waitress was friendly and the interior space was freshly painted and clean. We will be going back, as my husband says he needs another bumper sticker...ha,ha...
