Best restaurant for breakfast in the nation. Whether it is breakfast or lunch, they really do a great job with both flavor and portion size. I like their panhandler meals with eggs,meat and two sides. They have a very extensive menu so it may take awhile to peruse it before you finally order.I go at least once a month.

You get a lot of food for the price but it all tasted either very ordinary or old and stale like my biscuits and gravy. Even my giant pancake which I was really excited about wasn't anything special. My friend's French toast, though, came out pretty good! Service was very good, and I loved their iPod order-taking system and iPad system of checking out. The food was really the only let down and hence the poor rating. Not a place worth returning to in my opinion.

Selection was great, prices were good and the food was fantastic. I could eat here every day. Only thing that would make this place better is if they had corned beef hash on the menu.

I usually frequent this place about once a week. I have already filled up one frequent diner card and 1/2 way though my second. So, it is just a good down home breakfast. The wait staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the food most excellent. It's always a challenge to get in if you get there too late as this is one popular place. If you get there before 9:00 you will be ok. Oldwest is my top choice for breakfast, and I am picky.

Tried it for the first time today, and I'm happy to report it was great. The crowded parking lot should have tipped me off that it was going to be good. Try the biscuits & cream gravy with a side of hashbrowns. Not overpriced like other spots in Grapevine.

I drove past this place several times before I finally decided to give it a shot and am I glad I did! Seriously one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. All the menu items have cool western themed names and the decor matches the theme perfectly. The french toast was awesome and the thick cut bacon was even better. I can't wait to go back next weekend and try something new. Do yourself a favor and GO!!!
