The breakfast is OK if you don't order anything with hollandaise. It's the worst hollandaise I've ever been served.

These are super nice people. Wonderful family that owns/runs the place. Pretty basic breakfast with some greek touches. Wouldn't call it a dive but, don't go for the atmosphere. Do not order anything with hollandaise sauce. It is inedible. Stick with the omelettes/scrambles. Not really a destination restaurant but you could do worse.

Athens Family Restaurant is a Greek cafe which serves up a great American breakfast. They have great omelets, terrific pancakes, and home-fried potatoes which are to die for! The service is excellent and friendly and the coffee is wonderful. If eggs and pancakes aren't your thing, they offer fruit, dry cereal, and oatmeal. Any dish featuring eggs comes with your choice of toast or fresh-baked pita. You can also try bouyatsa, a Greek pastry full of custard and cinnamon (Delicious!). And at lunch and dinner they offer wonderful authentic Greek cuisine. On weekends they are open 24 hrs. Everyone in Nashville has their favorite breakfast spot. This one is mine!
