Casa Maria is my favorite place to eat,
specially when it comes to breakfast,
let me tell you at casa maria breakfast doesn't end at 11 am like most other restaurants, they have breakfast ALL DAY. which is a big thumbs up

This place was recommended to us by a local Hispanic businessman when we asked for a locally owned restaurant with handcrafted Tex-Mex food. It was outstanding. Wide ranging menu and all sorts of Tex-Mex faves. What I particularly liked about the recommendation was that we found a lot of local trades people eating there - obviously the restaurant has a large local constituency and is moderately priced to the folks who'd know. We'll go back if we're ever in San Marcos.
