Excellent food, large variety of dishes and everything has always been very good. The staff are especially helpful and pleasant.

Was surprised that so many people recommented Honey's Sit and Eat as a great place to have breakfast. I had the Breakfast Bomb which was eggs, sasuage and cheese wrapped in a large pancake. I expected to taste the flavors of all in every bite but it all taste the same, bland. The home fries actually tasted like they were flavored with pencil shavings. The latke my wife had taste like burnt oil. It was all very disappointing, I will continue my search for an incredible breakfast in Philadelphia.

Everything's homemade and organic when possible in this low-key joint that feels like it could be an extension of your hipster friend's kitchen. It's so comfortable and the food is always out of sight and reasonably priced. My "standard" for whether a place has an awesome breakfast is whether the maple syrup they serve is real or is the kind made from corn syrup. Honey's maple syrup is authentic, straight out of the tree stuff. You will love this king of Philadelphia breakfasts. Stuff you should know -- show up before 9 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday if you don't want to wait, though weekdays are no problem. Also bring cash -- they have an ATM there, though, if you don't think to bring it.
