Best breakfast in Bergen County? I don't think so. The coffee was very good (and hot), the OJ not so much. (I asked it it was fresh squeezed and told it was. It wasn't. It wasn't even good quality OJ... a bit sour)
Service was good even with lots of people waiting around for a seat.
But the food was... ok at best. The choices are amazing and HUGE. I had a sausage fritatta that was good, although the home fries were not to my liking. My son's pancakes were a bit burnt on the bottme. My wife's egg's were done properly but not as hot as she would have liked.
I know this is a tough business and this place sure has a bit following, but in my opinion there are other places in Bergen County with better breakfasts.

The Country Pancake House, located in the middle of Suburban Ridgewood, NJ is a fantastic place to grab breakfast on the weekend, provided you have time to wait. It is a small, cramped space with basic service, but worth every minute of wait that you have. Come on a Saturday & expect to wait- upwards of 45 min. As the name implies, it's primarily known as a pancake place, with literally hundreds of different variations of pancakes, from the most basic plain, to exotic wheat and fruit combinations most could scarcely imagine. Various types of omlettes, waffles, french toast, muffins freshly created juices also await. The "biggest" draw is the portions (I've yet to see ANYONE come in and finish their pancakes). That's the main reason to come in on Saturday, eat breakfast there Saturday, take home the rest for Sunday (& sometimes Monday). Bring cash, as they do not accept credit cards or check. Omlettes are HUGE, and of excellent quality. If you're looking for dynamite food and you're not in a rush, it's definitely the best breakfast in Northern Bergen County NJ.
