Location is Noe Valley, not Pierre Valley
2nd location 24th & Noe St. also in Noe Valley.

"Toast" opened with a lot of buzz - but never really lived up to it. It's a hipster place with o.k. breakfast food, but it's all a little over-priced and over-crowded.

What's really appalling is that the whole wheat toast that came with my eggs was a little crumbly. I expected some flavorful homemade crusty bread toasted to golden perfection, but no - this hipster joint that calls itself "Toast" has mediocre toast.

Really, now.
