Another generic breakfast place that serves huge portions of very average food like Carol's and Fat Daves and Joe Brown's and Pauls and Lisas Country Cafe. All the calories you ever could want and you will be fat and unhealthy but not hungry.

We tried the eggs benedict (excellent), fresh fruit crepes (excellent) and eggs over easy with hashed browns (excellent). The food is very good, service fast, staff friendly, prices below average. We were there during Saturday morning rush and were seated immediately. Someone came around frequently to refill our coffee. Although the food is very good and the prices low, the coffee is someone's idea of a bad joke. When we left I had to find a barista to fill my veins with something real.

My husband and I tried out Willie's on a Sunday morning. Seating was available immediately although there was a fair crowd. Many seemed to be regulars. Menu was standard breakfast fare, just what we were looking for. We tried one of the 6-egg omelets and a plate of biscuits and gravy, both came with hashbrowns. Hashbrowns were perfectly browned and crisp, not soggy or greasy. Omelet was stuffed with ham, cheese, and mushrooms, no skimping on any of the filling. Biscuits and gravy portion was substantial. The bottom of the biscuit was a tad over-browned, but the biscuit was so large that there more than enough to eat even though we left the dark bottom on the plate. Hostess as well as all servers were very pleasant. Food was quick and very hot. Breakfast for two @ $20 (not counting tip), and you WILL NOT leave hungry! We will be back.

The listing on this site as a "Greasy Spoon" is far from what this place is! This is truly a cafe as advertised in it's title. Small, quaint and set up for small groups, the ambiance and character just exudes the old small time cafes!! The place was extremely busy when we visited as a party of 6, yet we were greeted heartily at the door and the staff got us to our table ASAP! The 6 egg omelets were too much to eat as a single person and the country gravy is to die for. Braekfast has a new name!

We were on the way to another place but after Carol's Cafe was too busy we turned around and went back to Willies. It's not a fancy joint, crowded and on the old side. I got the special of the day, some cinnamon french toast, egg and bacon. It was really good! Like nice thick cut bread and good texture. Way better than I expected and it was like $8. Not cheap but a good value. I recommend it to anyone in the area.
