Buttery coffee cake set right in front of you, as soon as you sit down! That's how Cookshack welcomes you to their restaurant. The menu is easy. By that I mean, eggs, omelettes, pancakes done a myriad of ways. I've never gotten anything I didn't like. And I'm always jealous as other dishes go sailing by, second guessing my original order. Tasty. Easy. Good. Filling.

The downside? Yes there is one. The Cookshack is only open on weekends, no I think it's worse than that ... just on Sunday's. It's South Pasadena's best kept secret.
