I like the breakfast at Lil Chef. I admit, the place is a greasy diner, but I've always had great, friendly service there. They have a wide selection for breakfast and I've made special requests before for substitutions, or asking for my bacon "extra" crispy, and they've always done it. Plus, it's the only 24-hour restaurant in town and they serve breakfast all day long. Whenever I visit CMU, I always stop at Lil Chef.

This establishment is a joke. Starting at the very top with the general manager who is a drunk and afraid of confrontation. He has never fired anyone because he has no guts. If a problem is brought to his attention he cowers in fear, says the problem will be fixed then never fixes it. There are never enough employees working (except on his shift because he's lazy and wont do any work) because the managers try and save labor so they will get a bonus. The other manager is just as big of a loser. Comes in drunk all the time to work. Drinks on the job. He's so desperate for alcohol he's even been seen chugging the cooking wine on the cook's line. He also steals money from the restaurant and its employees. The food portions are very small and the prices go up every couple months. Restaurant is not cleaned very well, food re-used for months, etc. If you order something without an item (even if you tell them you are allergic) and you send it back because they made it with that item then will simply remove it and give it back to you. If you find a hair in your food, same deal. It is a disgusting place run by complete idiots. Absolutely the worst business I have ever been apart of. Dont ever eat there, its disgusting.
