this place is awesome! there breakfast burrito is like crack to me. their egg and cheese sandwiches are huge! try the country egg sandwich, a little pricey, but once you have one you won't be able to not have another one or 20.

A little more expensive than most but the quality is worth it.Fresh pesto for breakfast? Its great on the "country egg sandwich" with roasted garlic. Truffle oil? The "truffled egg sandwich is outstanding. My only complaint would be they don't open until 9:00am. I like my breakfast a little earlier. I found it easy to order under the large "Order Here" sign above the cash register. Over all a great breakfast joint.

Simply put, this is not a customer friendly restaurant. Upon arrival, it is not clear if you are to seat yourself or wait for a hostess. Once you figure out that it is seat yourself, you then have to determine that you need to order at the counter -- not easy to do when there are no instructions indicating this fact.

Prices are ok, but $1.75 for 12 oz. of milk is outrageous. Additionaly, all food/drink are served on disposable plates and cups, with plastic forks and knives and supermarket-quality paper napkins.

I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but this place had five eggs...it should have delivered a much more pleasant dining experience. And I neglected to mention that the temperature in the dining area was over 80F!

Be warned...

Very casual and friendly cafe. Have had several of the breakfast items, with my favorite being the green eggs and ham. Two eggs cooked to order slathered with the right amount of basil pesto, a generous portion of prosciutto ham, and freshly shaved whole Parmesan cheese, served with your toasted bread of choice topped with roasted garlic paste. (My personal favorite is the 9-grain, but the sour dough is delicious too.) You can have all this with a tall regular free trade coffee and bottled water for under $10. Amazing. The French toast is almost too much even for the very hungry. Yummy. The breakfast sandwiches are definitely a handful and very satisfying. Cook staff are very interested in how you would like you food prepared and the final product proves this.

Best breakfast sandwiches in town. Nice little place in Harrison West/Victorian Village. I had lived in the neiborhood for six months before checking it out. The breakfast burrito is not your little wimpy eggs and veggies. It is massive with eggs, sausage (no veggies, but no need) with hashbrowns and salsa on the side. The standard egg sandwich is as massive. For the more adventurous a truffled egg sandwich with mushrooms and truffle oil and a Green Eggs and Ham with pesto (for the green) and Proscuitto(for the ham).......haven't had it yet but looks really good. This little gem is definitely worth checking out.
