I went on vacation two years ago and I love Becky's Diner I loved everything from the food to the service! just awesome!!, in fact I'm returning in July and I am looking forward visiting this wonderful diner everyday of my vacation....Go Becky's Diner!!! you're the bomb!!!!

I have been going here for years because it is a local landmark, but not anymore. I ordered the home fries and they suck. Totally ruined the breakfast. They served me these refried in fryalator, reconstituted potato crap. If thye serve this crap, I could not trust anything else they could ever do. The eggs and hash were overcooked

A great place to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner - on the waterfront in Portland. You can't go wrong here and you won't walk away hungry.

I don't think I have ever walked away from a meal at Becky's and not felt sick. My first time there, I picked something I was pretty sure could not make me sick but it was REALLY burnt.

I don't know what all the hype is about. I can see how it may be great for people working the waterfront because of it's extended hours, convenient location and cheap fare.

If you are looking for a good meal though, this is NOT the place to go. Portland offers many establishments that offer great food, for any meal.

Becky's Diner...Nuthin' finah. After years of wrangling with the city code enforcers Becky's finally expanded to more than double its original size. Don't be fooled however, there's still a waiting line on weekends! Good honest breakfast, lunch and yes, even dinner all at a fair price. If you go for lunch or dinner, try the fish chowdah...it's wicked awesome! Becky's has no pretention; you won't find any 12 dollar omelettes here. you will find an ecletic mix of fisherfolk, politicians, shop owners (its location is just south of the infamous and charming Old Port shopping district)and regular guys and gals. Everyone here treats you like you're a regular and after you've visited once...you are.
