Unfortunately, Markley's is closed. Buyer hopes to reopen it as a bar. Another unfortunate loss of a landmark from another downtown. Last time I ate there, I tried the build-it-yourself omelet (actually, you specify, they build) ... Cook came out and said he couldn't fit what I ordered into a three-egg omelet, so did I want him to throw in another egg? Priceless. I'll miss the place.

OPEN GRILL COOKING.
GOOD EMPLOYEE RELATIONS.
FOOD IS GREAT AND INEXPENSIVE.
BUSY PLACE DURING SUMMER.
