One of my 2 "Go to" Breakfast places! The food is great and the service is outstanding.
Reasons?:
Eggs cooked perfectly
Excellent Biscuits and Home Fries.
Experienced, friendly staff

I had the Maximillian eggs with Chorizo. It was very good, prepared exactly as ordered.

Service was good and friendly.

It wasn't expensive, but it just seemed a dollar or two more per dish than I would have expected.

I went on a Sunday around 11:00 a.m. and, although it was busy, there wasn't a wait.

It is all indoor seating, so it is not dog-friendly.

Had a great breakfast here. The biscuits & gravy were better than you usually find this side of the Mississippi. The gravy was seasoned just right and had plenty of sausage in it. The biscuits were fresh but just dense enough to provide a good foil for the gravy. The accompanying bacon was crisp & delicious.

Coffee was surprisingly good--much better than you usually get at restaurants like this.

The service was excellent & friendly--my coffee cup never got close to empty.

I look forward to returning and trying some of the southwest specialties.

Oh yeah, in the interest of full disclosure, my cousins own and manage the place but I take breakfast too seriously to give false praise. If I hadn't loved my breakfast, I just wouldn't have written a review. Nick says go forth and enjoy a great breakfast!

differences of opinion - I think it a place to frequent more often than we do, but my wife isn't as happy with the place. Better places price wise to portion sizes in the valley if that's a measure of rating. Better places regarding 'tastes' of food though it does rank higher in tastey meals in my mind than it does in my wife's. Do Expect Waits on Saturdays.

Harlow's cafe is just what Breakfast lovers are looking for. Don't let the outside decor fool you. The people inside are very welcoming, and have a sense of how special Harlow's Cafe is. The food is priced very average, expect to pay $7.99 for an omelet platter. The place is true to the Arizona desert, with some western flare. I am a huge fan of finding the best breakfast place in town, and have traveled in the states extensively, and I was thoroughly impressed by Harlow's. Enjoy your breakfast.
