I eat here on a regular basis and I've never had a bad experience. One time I tried a chili special they had and mentioned how I didn't like it as much as I liked other menu items and they took it off of my check. I didn't even ask them to! Great food, great service. Parking is kind of difficult to find on busy mornings, but it's worth a short walk.

Been around as long as I can remember. Try the Gyro meat omelette or any dish with eggs and grits. Always a great place to gather and eat. Also open for lunch and dinner, but you can order breakfast any time you want.

This small diner has been around since the 40's serving locals from Oviedo and nearby Winter Springs and Chuluota. The theme on the inside is country with chickens and roosters being the main theme. Oviedo has always had wild chickens and roosters running about in the central part of the town and just recently passed a law that protects them. Ironically, they hang around the Townhouse and nearby Popeyes Chicken.

Wait staff is the type that have been working there for years. After a number of vists they will start to recognize your face and and remember what you usually order. It's that close and personable. Actor James Best (Rosco P. Coltrane in the old "Dukes of Hazzard" TV series in the 70's), who resides near Oviedo, frequents the restaurant with his wife when he's not traveling.

Food is fantastic with the standard 2 eggs, toast or biscuit, sausage patties or links, home fries or grits being $2.99 with unlimited coffee refills. They also have other egg style breakfasts, omelettes, pancakes, waffles and country favorites like Biscuits and Sausage Gravy or Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The coffee is some of the best. The restaurant was voted as the 'Best Breakfast in all of Orlando' 2 years in a row recently.

If you have a chance to visit, don't put it off. Oviedo is currently leveling all of the old 'downtown' area in favor of a new 'downtown' with townhomes, businesses, and an outdoor mall area of sorts with an ampitheatre in the middle. Despite thousands of residents and patrons petitioning to keep the Townhouse alive, the City of Oviedo disregarded it and is continuing to move foward with demolition scheduled for 2008 supposedly.
