A wonderful place to visit while in Santa Cruz. Coffee is excellent. Service is Excellent, Food is Termendous, the cute atmosphere is PERFECT. I love this place.

Linda's served up the best vegetarian dishes and everything was fresh and wholesome. I remember ordering the cinnamon rolls once and they practically melted in my mouth. It's owned by someone else now, but is still equally delicious. There's a wait, but you get coffee and sitting on the sidewalk on Seabright Ave. is always fun. There's always something going on that street.

The omelette was perfect! The ingredients were good quality and super fresh. The salad was crispy, tasty, and didnt have anything weird in it. The dressing was excellent. We will be back!

just found this web site !! and will be saving this in my browser .. I first discovered Linda's over 10 yrs ago when visiting Santa Cruz on a vacation.... I cannot speak more highly of this place, I'm very fusy about my breakfast and appreciate quality ingredients and strong coffee (I wish this web site would have a seperate "rating section' for coffee strength!)a refill is important but there is nothing worse than "see through" weak coffee to ruin the breakfast experience. Linda's would be a 3.5 on a 5 point scale.
back to my review here ... I've had breakfast out in hundreds of places ... nothing comes close to Linda's ( Linda sold this place a few years back and bought the Silver Spur I think, also good) ... be prepared for the wait!if you arrive after 9:00 on the weekend have plenty of time to kill.

my favourite ....The Greek Scramble.
