Went to Perko's, food was greasy/cramped...came to Denny's had the Grand Slam @ 4.99. unbelievable amount of food. I was impressed restaurant was clean, we got our food in 10 min. Server was pleasant. I was to told it would be bad service...the staff seemed nice and very helpful to my family, we will definetly come back next time in town. We went to other restaurants in town for breakfast..we came back to Dennys, had to write this I was suprised.

If one is into eating healthy breakfasts, I suggest eating elsewhere. Denny's breakfasts are carb overloads and wasteful. My breakfast consisted of three pancakes (a meal in itself), scrambled eggs WITH country fries mixed in it; HASH browns (definitely overdosing on carbs, whoever ever heard of a double dose of potatoes at breakfast?); two strips of bacon AND two sausage links. It is a wonder 911 wasn't called due to a cholesterol clogging. Back to Perkos for me.

I understand that every Denny's is different. Unfortunately, the Denny's in my area is horrible! The service from the wait staff is slow and seen twice (one to take your order and one to deliver it to you.....eventually) if your lucky. The cleanliness of this particular Denny's is poor. No attention is paid to the details such as spots on the silverware, food on your seat, etc. when you finally get your food it's usually cold and the portions are small, and God forbid you ask for an extra condiment, (I have to have Tabasco ®) I was two bites from finishing my food when it arrived. If you live in or visit my area, and you absolutely have to eat at a Denny’s, please go to Angels Camp and visit their facility. If you don’t want to drive that far, go to Perkos Café!
