Great place for weekend brunch. The restaurant is very clean and classy. The waitstaff all seem very friendly. Even though the place was packed, we got our food quickly and were checked on at least 3 times. I had the Croque Madame which was sort of open-faced Monte Cristo sandwich with an egg on top. It was very filling and very delicious. Good job 640!

As a breakfast freak for years, who often laments Murphy's quaint beginnings on Los Angeles Avenue, where Tom offered the best scones you could put in your mouth -but then went for bigger digs and an over-salted mass-produced breakfast much like the angel child of Atlanta breakfasts, Flying Biscuit (where I ate breakfast every weekend morning for years before they were forced to mass produce). I was happy to find a neighborhood restaurant, I can walk to and be proud to recommend. Eclipse de Sol is the new restaurant on Poncey-Highland. It's a spot where many restaurants trying to live up to Andy's original Diem success have failed, but my stomach has a good feeling about Eclipse de Sol. Sit outside and you feel like you're somewhere else instead of Georgia. Brunch is a delight thanks to Executive Chef Patti Roth (Luxe & Alons), who offers delicately presented poached eggs dishes, salads, panini sandwiches with wonderous inventions like Grapefruit & Rosewater Martini! I have to add her macaroni & cheese is the best I've ever had and worth the calories, the side is under $4. The potatoes are real, the eggs are prepared like someone actually learned how to cook an egg right, and the atmosphere is very warm and relaxing.
