I have eaten here many times and always had good service and great food. Nothing over cooked or dry. It's a great place to be and to take someone to. It reminds me of the kind of place you would find up in Jerome, AZ. I have gone on weekends and had to wait in line, not a long wait but it is popular... give it a try.

Here's the dilemma - Kiss The Cook is funky and fun. The food is tasty and I'd come back again and again if it wasn't for the cockroach that wandered across the window blind on my last visit. Now I know this is Arizona, and we have cockroaches - but please, not while I'm eating breakfast. And yes while the coffee refills are frequent - the coffee itself is so weak you can read a newspaper through it. So - three visits will be all for me. I will have to find another place with as much character -- but without the crawlie cabaret.

The omelets are super fluffy; the opposite of flat. Mr. Limpit would be tempted to order the seafood omelet! Each breakfast includes a miniature muffin bakers basket that arrives just before your main course. The selection of "mini" muffins include: bran, blueberry, orange souffle, and surprise muffins. All entrees have a small serving of seasonal fruit and homestyle potatoes. If you choose the Country Breakfast Scramble, be sure to ask for a side of their homemade hollandaise. Locals like it hot, so you can find a daily special creation of chorizo. Italian frittata or strata is also always on the menu. Be sure to plaster their homestyle potatoes with the hollandaise sauce. Dark hard wood flooring and choice antiques decor throughout, which are available for sale, envelop you as you enjoy the atomosphere and tasty tidbits. You'll want to Kiss the Cook everytime! Remember, cereal is for flakes.....
