I wrote the review below. I went back this morning. The difference was astounding; if this had been my original experience, I would have had nothing good to say. I guess it depends on the crew that is working on the day you dine.

I am not a local (I live in Nashville, TN). I stopped at The Wild Goats Cafe based on the several reviews alone; I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I ordered the homemade corned beef hash and my guest ordered pancakes, hashbrowns, ham and eggs. Everything was superb! The pancakes stood slightly apart, as did the eggs (over-easy); until this stop, I would never have classified over-easy eggs beyond done or not done, but now I know better--these may have been the most perfectly cooked eggs I have ever eaten. I highly recommend The Wild Goats Cafe (and Emily, who was our waitress that morning).

A good, homemade meal is not that easy to come by in a mass-produced nation. The coffee IS truly awesome. I've never been let down dining there yet...and I'm a regular! They don't even mind my quirky requests.
