Extremely welcoming its bright clean and reading the menu starts your day off right. The portions are generous and tasty and the staff was very pleasant

Blue Plate is a good "go to" kind of place. Their food is good, their service is good, the atmosphere is good. There is a better breakfast to be had in Memphis, but Blue Plate isn't far behind.

The breakfast food on Jan.6 2008 was the worst i have eaten in a long time.The gravy tasted like something that came out of a box or a bag.I had country ham and eggs that were swimming in grease.The pancakes tasted like thinned biscuit mix.I ate enough to decide i wasnt going to eat any more.When i complained at the check-out the lady never said a word, but she didnt have any trouble taking my money.I will never eat there again!!

Okay I usually never take the time to review things like this, but I just got back from the Blue Plate Cafe and it was SO disgusting that I had to write one. The food was like bad cafeteria food and way overpriced. The biscuits were stale, the coffee was bad, the omlets were gummy, the grits were lumpy, the potatoes were cold! And everything was NASTY GREASY! There was not one good thing! The worst part was that it was almost 20 dollars for my husband and I to eat breakfast. They should have payed me to even try to eat that junk! We just moved to Memphis and wanted to try a "good" local place, but next time I will just stick with the waffle house or cracker barrell where it is ALWAYS good! Honestly, it was so bad that I wish I could throw it up to get it out of my stomach, except that it would be worse coming up I am sure. Yuck! Avoid this place at all costs!

In all the times I have been forced to eat at this particular restaurant, I have never had a decent, much less good, meal. I don't appreciate room-temp food. I don't appreciate having my coffee spilled as it is being refilled.

I have eaten here several times amd love it. It is a real down home place to sit back and enjoy the food. I have never had to wait for a table at any meal I've had there. Sure going again. Thanks

I honestly love their breakfasts at Blue Plate Cafe and I would recommend Blue Plate Cafe to any
one and everybody in all (50)states. I honestly truly really would eat their breakfasts at Blue Plate Cafe.

Definitely didn't feel like "home-cooking". I don't care for cheese that doesn't melt (imitation). Service was poor. Long wait. Seemed understaffed for as busy as they were. I was in a party of 5, and none of us enjoyed the food or the service.

Very Good Family Restaurant, Home Owned. Right in the heart of Bartlett, TN. Breakfast anytime, homemade biscuits and cornbread. Food like grandma used to cook.
