I am more than a little out of my element reviewing this Ukrainian restaurant. I ordered kasha with my eggs as a bit of an adventure. The gritty dry cereal was not pleasing to my taste. My wife said her waffle was superior but could still have used another egg in the batter. You just cannot satisfy some. :-) The bacon was obviously cooked under pressure that squeezed out the grease. My wife found it delightful. I guess I prefer the grease. :-)

The coffee was very strong and excellent. We were offered only the one cup. We had no complaint under the circumstances.

For what it's worth, the menus for lunch and dinner looked quite appetizing. We would certainly consider returning for those but for breakfast we would look elsewhere.

The breakfast is almost as good as the Ukranian food which, in this case, is saying a lot. Definitely the best breakfast I have had in Manhattan.

Awesome. Been going here for over 23 years. Try the blintzes. Actually the neighborhood has a lot of good spots for breakfast. Wander around. Veselka is the most comfortable.

This place is a really yummy Polish spot. The bacon is super, the coffee is really good and the potato pancakes are outstanding. The lines are never *that* bad and it's open all the time, so if you crave and egg cream at 3am, here's your spot.
