Never a problem with food or service, until this morning. Blonde cashier/waitress, rude, tries to put words in customer's mouths. Overall menu needs to be expanded, but good for now.

Have never had any use for FB. Hopefully the fad will pass soon.

Yes, the food prices at Biscuit King in Lexington have indeed gone up ever since Cathy Dunn became a Davidson County Commissioner. Don't expect them to get any cheaper here anytime soon. And if you think the restaurant prices are high here in Lexington, they're almost double that at the new High Biscuit King location. And yes, they ARE selling hambrugers that are thinner in size now. You see, they buy the rock bottom cheapest stuff they can and sell it for the ighest price they possibly can. At any rate, they are to be avoided at all costs.

As a former employee of Biscuit King, I can tell you that the quality of the food they serve at Biscuit King has gone down dramtaically since March of 2000 when I first went to work there until the present time. And I have been told by customers who have been eating there since the restaurant chain first opened in 1989 that the quality of the food had changed from 1989 until I first went to tork there. They went from serving frech cracked eggs to serving liquid processed eggs, which have preservatives that greatly affect the taste of the eggs. And having eaten fresh cracked eggs and liquid processed eggs, I can personally tell you that there IS a difference. Shoot, the people who work at Biscuit King, whenever they want eggs, they bring their own from home and crack them on the egg grille at work. Also, Biscuit King has gone from serving fresh hand-pattied hamburgers to serving frozen processed burgers. All the good restaurants: Piddlers Round II in Denton,NC the Waffle House in Salisbury, NC, all server fresh hand-pattied hamburgers. As far as Biscuit King's biscuits are concerned, their biscuits have never been good, and that's why anytime I got anything from up there that you would get on a biscuit I always got it on toast. The biscuits are sometimes still gooey with raw dread dough in the center when they come out the oven, and they crumble and fall apart when you bite into them. Cathy Dunn is now selling these very same biscuits in the local area supermarkets. DON'T BUY THEM AT EITHER BISCUIT KING OR IN THE STORE. If you wnat biscuits, your best bet is Biscuitville. On top of that, they have management problems at Biscuit King, and management treats their employees badly. DON'T EAT AT BISCUIT KING!!!!!

Since the owner, Cathy, got elected as county commissioner it seems the prices have been going up and the meat has gotten thinner. The food is great, just seems too expensive for what you're getting. I would suggest a breakfast and lunch/dinner special every week.

Their biscuits aren't bad but if you get country ham it is generally thin and tough. I don't know if they still charge extra for more than 1 small cup of pancake syrup but I quit ordering them for that reason. The specials are the best thing going for them.

The only problem I have is they need to cook the flour more when making gravy it taste more like a flour pudding I tried three location in lexington and they were all the same so if I eat there no gravy for me. Does anyone that works there ever taste the gravy before serving it. Please cook it a little longer.

Probably the best breakfast place in the area. There is always a special worth eating. All the food is delicous. The employees are always nice. The service is good. The Biscuits are huge and tasty. The King serves breakfast all day long, and their lunch and dinner selections are wonderful as well.

I lived in Lexington, NC my entire life and I grew up with the Biscuit King restaurants. I love them and cannot find any biscuit restaurant that could top them. I recently moved to Lynchburg, VA and have been searching for a good breakfast restaurant everywhere. I wish that Biscuit King would come to Virginia. I miss them and always stop by when I travel back home. Thanks for the memories!
