cloud cakes and huevos rancheros are the best! started going when my kids were toddlers and they are in college now!

I still get excited to sit down and look over this very familiar menu for my next delight. I have had something different every time I have eaten here and have yet to be disappointed. Service is laid back for sure, but I would rather that than the turn around time of a greasy spoon diner. And greasy spoon this is NOT! I love that I can eat healthy if I am on a health kick or go all out with a cinnamon snail, eggs benedict (to die for) or cloud cakes with syrup! I will be bringing my brunch club (15 people) there for brunch this Sunday with full confidence in service and food quality.

Great Food.....Great Food.............Great Food.
It all goes down from there. Worst service in Dallas. Redheaded owner is the rudest worker, much less owner ,I have ever come across. If Rich still works there, he's your only chance of having the 2 hour wait with no coffee, worth while. Other than that AVOID.......good food is everywhere

This is one of the best breakfast places in Dallas. The ingredients are excellent, the atmosphere is very laid back. Some of the waitstaff has a too-cool-for-school attitude, but others are very friendly and hospitable. The "Cloud Cakes" are very light, tasty ricotta cakes. Highly recommended.

Dream Cafe is really a bad dining experience. First, don't take your breakfast to go, or they will charge you $.50 per to-go item (they said it was to pay for the containers). I work next door to them, and every dining experience my friends and I have (we keep giving them another chance) is disappointing. The wait staff is SO rude and incompetent it's almost funny. Kind of like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. But when your 1 hour meal turns into 1.5 hours because of slow service, it's not funny anymore.

The ricotta pancakes are incredibly delicious. Thick, moist pancakes.

Great variety on the menu. Omlettes are average.

Fresh fruit, fresh cream, great food.
