I visited C & G Country Cafe over the weekend because I heard it was delicious, well it was, I had the special omelette which was amazing, it came with the best home fries I ever had plus toast or a fruit cup. My husband had pancakes with fresh fruit on top. The servers and staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is decorated country and cozy, it's a place where you feel welcome and want to go back. The Head Chef is awesome in that kitchen,

This new restaurant serves breakfast all day and is open 7 days a week from 7AM to 3PM. It occupies the space where "Shut Up and Eat" was in the K Mart shopping plaza.

We went there on a Sunday morning and it appeared to be very popular. The staff and owners are very friendly. The items on the menu are just a little bit higher than normal, but that's OK. I had the Waffle with walnuts (not whole but chopped and sprinkled over). My wife had the French Toast which was good but made with thin slices of bread.

Pancakes, Waffles and French Toast are served with whipped cream and powdered sugar unless you say otherwise. Coffee was good and plentiful but a little pricey at $1.75. They have some interesting specialty omelets and a healthy alternatives menu. Non-cholesterol or whites are $1.00 extra. I observed some patrons with a morning parfait that looked delicious and a great looking fruit salad. The Country Breakfast also looked good. Daily blackboard specials are posted.

We will be going back on a week day and I intend to try the Country Sandwich or the Jersey Devil sandwich both at $5.75 with homefries extra for 95¢. Cozy surroundings. Complimentary Banana Nut bread was served at the end of our breakfast. A full Lunch menu with soup, burgers, chicken breast, sandwiches and interesting salads are available.
