Several friends recommended the place so stopped in just after they opened one Sunday morning. Had the French Toast -- Local Breeze downtown has better done in a similar way -- and hash browns...those were very good but very small portioned despite the fact the person taking the order had said Scrambles is known for serving large portions. I can't think of any real competition in the area so I'd expect Scrambles to do well but I'm not going to drive out of my way to go when Local Breeze downtown is closer to me.

Finally a breakfast place that gets breakfast. There has been a total buzz about the place so I finally checked it out and it was a hit. The service style is Fast Casual, so you place your order and pay for it, and then the food is delivered to your table. There is the normal breakfast fare, and then there are the dishes that bring me back. They are their French Toast (best I've ever had), the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict when I am in a spicy mood, and the breakfast pizza, or Brizza as they call it with Smoked Gouda and Cherrywood Bacon. All three are home runs. Be sure to check out the hand dryers in the bathroom. I know it sounds strange but you will understand once you look. I hope more of these places pop up here in the Valley.
