This is on the top of our list for Breakfast in Santa Barbara. Their portions are huge and the food has a real European taste. All egg breakfasts come with pate, cheese, potatoes and a "surprise" which is usually a selection of fabulous pastries and bread. So much food and so good. Their butter ring is an absolute take home must. I believe their coffee was Santa Barbara roasting company - the best in California.

Total rip off!!! This beautiful little bakery had a lovely display with okay prices, since it was a sunny morning we decided to sit down treat ourselves to coffee and a pastry. I had to ask twice to have my coffee refilled, which I found annoying espeically since the place was empty. Upon receiving our check we were told there was an extra $1 fee per pastry for putting it on a plate and they added an 18% tip to the bill. So one cup of coffee and two pastries came to over $17. We told the manager/owner about our displeasure with the bill, and she offered no compinsation.
