My husband and I heard about Toast. We gave it a try. We both had the breakfast burrito with hash browns. Price $ 10.95. Burrito was ok, however the 3 greasy Mc Donalds type hashbrowns , are not what was expected. very poor, coffee refills we are still waiting for the waitress to ask us. We counted over 10 people working there, alot for a sun morning. and not one working.

I used to love this place, but today I got the worst service ever. after seeing 4 waitresses standing around not one came up to us and ask may I take your order, I had to tell the manager that no one had approached our table. Finally we got someone. then the food came not one refill of coffee not even water. Really sad as I would never go there again. :(

We love it! The service is great and the food is perfect. The manager is the best in the neighborhood. He is one of the main reasons we always come back. I suggest the blueberry pancakes. yummi.

From the moment i walked in, I got a bad vibe. I asked to sit at the counter which was appropriate as I was dining solo mid-afternoon. The trendy-looking waitress was extremely rude and I felt trying to push me away from sitting at the counter. She asked me if I would like a drink which offended me and contradicted the homey, luncheonette decor. She then expressed displeasure when I asked for coffee a few minutes later! Imagine--coffee at a breakfast place!

Next to me what I surmised to be the owner spoke in a foreign tongue to a young man, and in a booth in the back sat another group which seemed to be connected by language to the owner and my waitress. I felt like a unwelcomed outsider. To top that off, a busboy practically dropped my dish down from behind my back with less etiquette than a fast food server.

The salmon salad sandwich I ordered was drowned in salt and its artistic arrangement couldn't compensate. The most enjoyable part of the meal was the french fries. In fact, I had an upset stomach when I got home.

The place was one big contradiction. The ambience says homey, American, breakfast, the service and staff says want-to-be trendy and upscale with a big serving of attitude.

An extremely unpleasant dining experience.

They're on to the right idea here, but fail to deliver what's promised...

On the early afternoon that I went, I ordered the Texas toast with a side order of link sausage; the french toast was somewhat dried out, the sausage seemed as if it was re-heated and desiccated as well (sausage jerky?). Would have helped if I didn't have to chase after the wait-staff, to ask them for maple syrup. The coffee had a somewhat burnt taste to it, again as if it had been sitting since the morning rush. Add to this that the assigned waitress decided to confront her manager about scheduling issues, and the two were in a heated argument in front of the entire dining area, so I was basically forgotten about; I had to beg another waitress to cover her, and get me the check. Overall a very lackluster experience; you'd have to pay me to go back.

Oh my!!! The food was impeccable, sausage and biscuits with gravy, I havent enjoyed that since my days in the south. Speaking of south the southern hospitality that was displayed was a rarity to find in the north. While waiting for a table coffee was brought to me with a smile (which by the way is amazing coffee) Iloved it I can not wait to eat many more meals in there.

A breakfast experience so delightful, you cannot live after eating there! Cheesy grits to die for! Bourbon French Toast, Huevos Rancheros, Roasted Vegetable Omelets, Frittatas, Muffins, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - all presented with flair and warmth, all delicious! It's the breakfast I've been waiting for in Huntington. (Just an aside - the bathrooms are gorgeous too!)
