While living in Ann Arbor we often went to Zinermann's for the most sublime carry out breakfasts. We only get there a few times a year since we moved away.

As memory servies, it was a tad overwhelming when one is faced with "the finest blend of natural, sweet grass fed cow milk cream cheese North of the MasonDixon Line artfully arranged over 16-grain artisan wood-fired bagel atop with Scandinavian cold-water wild Salmon Lox" (just made that up, but the claims seem to sound like that...)

Other than that kind of self-promotion, they offer tasty, high priced delicious breakfast food that is good for a treat for those of us on a budget....

This is THE place to come to in Ann Arbor, not only for breakfast, but for great deli food. Just don't plan on health food! Great breads and bagel, delicious lox, and they make a lot of their own cheese.

I'm astonished Zingerman's - an Ann Arbor institution - hadn't yet been listed in your database. Though pricey, the deli uses the best possible quality ingredients from around the world to create delicious breakfast items: bagel sandwiches, muffins, danish, scones, rugelach, strudel - all made at the bakehouse, and wonderful coffee drinks! You may have to wait a bit, but the wait is worth what this fabulous deli has to offer!
