The Santa Cruz Diner is an old-school diner with great service and pretty decent food. It fills you up right and there's always room for desert. The shakes are delicious and are hand scooped. Always try to go for the special menu. The steak and eggs breakfast are really excellent and cooked just right. The senior menu also has a great variety. Overall, the restaurant is very clean, affordable, and just great to hang out at with friends over coffee and breakfast. It's open 24 hours and right on Ocean street not far from the corner of Ocean and Water.
