Son's waffle tasteless and soggy (looked good, but that's it); pancakes very doughy; my potatoes looked like they had scrapped them together from a few other plates. Our server was nice. Other servers sitting in the back eating and rolling silverware. Ambience chain restaurant style almost no personality. I was disappointed as I'd made my family drive 45 minutes to eat here and try them out as I'd read good reviews online. Some people writing these reviews have no clue.....sorry but you ought to go out and eat more often.

Hands down best breakfast place. The reviewer that said IHOP is better either owns one or has no taste buds. We live in CT and stay in Kissimmee and drive way out of the way because it is that good. Even though we only eat there about 6 times of year one of the wait staff always remembers us and that we are from CT. The breakfast salad with sliced fruit and yogurt is fresh and yummy, the waffles hot, fluffy and delicious.

I always liked the homefries, but just recently they must have changed them. They are to thick and don't taste near as good. I hope they switch them back to how they used to be.

Very crowded on Sunday. Long wait. Hot. Poor service (the staff may have been stretched thin, but our waiter was oblivious). Very good coffee, but my cup was empty most of the time. No Splenda. Sausage was very good; eggs were OK. Pancakes were large, but rubbery. Syrup was extremely watered down (actually, the worst I've ever had).

Overall, the food was a step below IHOP. The service was unacceptably poor. The prices were extremely high for breakfast. I'll never return.

Yummy, yummy, YUMMY! Busy on the weekends, as is any breakfast place but the food is always fast and delicious. The pancakes are HUGE, fluffy and tasty. The Florida waffles and french toast have lots of fresh fruit on top...my favorites. Great home fries and all the omelettes are big with out being to greasy. Coffee is good and always filled. Modern clean decor and a busy staff that is happy to serve you. A must stop in Orlando!

What a find. I guess this place has been open for nearly two years now but we just found it this weekend. My girlfriend and I were driving by a plaza that looked closed and saw this huge mass of people at the Florida Waffle Shop. We figured the locals knew something that we didn't, and we were right.

We waited about 10-15 minutes for a table and were promptly greeted by our server. We felt like long time customers after about five minutes. The coffee is excellent, and the food is unbelievable. I had a fantastic omelet with home fries made with real potatoes. My girlfriend nearly had a foodgasam when she saw the pancakes, these things looked too good to eat.

What a rewarding experience. And what a find, maybe the best reason yet to live in Orlando.

This is simply the best breakfast restaurant on Earth.

All of the food is great, the restaurant is super clean and the staff is as good as any.

If your visiting Orlando, add this place to your list of places to go. If you live there don't go unless you are prepared to be hooked.

This is the breakfast place I have been waiting for years to arrive in Orlando. The absolute best breakfast of all time, every time. Pancakes and omelets are out of this world. You can tell they use top notch ingredients in everything. Also, their coffee is worth the drive alone.

They must be putting something in the staff koolaide, this is a high energy and happy to serve bunch of people.

Do yourself a favor and try this place, you will never again go anyplace else.

Nice and quiet, food was very good. We went early in the morning and there were plenty of seats available. Staff was nice and service was as expected. Give it a try!

I know this place is called the Florida Waffle Shop but on my first visit I had the best omelet and home fries that I have ever tasted. On my visits since I have been unable to get these omelets out of my head so I keep ordering the same thing. I hope to sample more of the menu that includes waffles, pancakes, french toast and various lunch items but for now I am sticking to the omelets and homefries. If you like breakfast this is a must stop location.

By the way the coffee is also top notch for those of you that have had your fill of "char-bucks"
