Wow! This place is great. Best thick bacon ever ($1.00 a piece). I super highly recommend the Brioche French Toast. It comes with an awesome maple pecan rum topping that is to die for. The waitresses are very nice and have cute aprons.

Square One has got some things down really well: they use butter, their coffee cake tastes like my Southern grandma's, and their dishes sound great; but the quality of the food is too uneven - I've had one phenomenal meal and one completely bland meal - and their service is wretched. If you do manage to track down a waiter, be sure to ask him for utensils, water, drinks, place your order, and request the check because you won't likely see him again.

Comfortable little place with great omelets and good service. Also recommend the Eggs Benedict with Salmon.
