Absolutely the BEST SCRATCH COOKING AROUND! The line of people waiting to order that reaches the road says it all. It's worth the wait. And worth the drive out. Gorgeous setting. Huge portions. Don't miss it! Also - you should check their web site out. It's hilarious. wildaboutberries.com

This place is something else! For breakfast, I am partial to the Blueberry Blintz and I don't even like BLUEBERRIES. The food is incredible, the service impecable. My husband and I will get up on a Sunday and drive 200 miles for the cooking. It is that good.

Blueberry HillsBlueberry Hills is an incredible agritourisum spot for a hearty breakfast. You can go out and pick your own blueberries or buy them frozen. In the summer months through mid September you can also pick huge blackberries and very sweet raspberries. Roger Sorenson who is a highly skilled wood craftsman built this with architecture resembling that of an upscale barn with mammoth hanging baskets of beautiful petunias. The inside is a totally fun collection of everything on the ceilings and walls. A lot of it are antique historic things from the valley. Most all of it the breakfast is one of the best ever and my favorite is the Barn Waffles - you can have your waffles topped with fresh peaches or blueberries. I don't know what they use in their batter but every bite will take you to heaven. A second is called “Pepe’s Special” which was created by their head chef Pepe. You go to the counter, make your selection, pay and then find a table. You fill your own coffee with no limit to refills. The kids love it too – there is even a small play area for little kids underneath the stairs. There is also a huge deck out front where many people like to eat during the summer months overlooking a beautiful orchard type setting.

Go early as some days you will find lines coming out the door. If you do find a line – be patient as it is well worth your time to wait. This is one of the best places in the entire Chelan valley for an incredible breakfast.

They have a website at wildaboutberries.com or if you have any questions you can email one of the owner operators Kari at karianne@nwi.net. If you are going to Chelan on vacation and bringing a group of people this is the place to go for a superb breakfast experience.
