Yes, I know it's small. (Please, DON'T expand). Yes, I know its crowded. Yes, I know the staff can sometimes get surly (but we still love them...they bring us food and coffee). Yes, I firmly believe Guy Fieri should be smacked around for featuring this place on Triple D and letting the tourist world in on one of Charm City's greatest treasures. Where to start? Easy, two words. Cinnamon Roll. If you're stuck waiting in line (and you likely will be), when you put your name on the list, get a cinnamon roll to tide you over. You'll be glad you did. Food? All I can say is, WOW. From the ubiquitous Cap'n Crunch French Toast, to the pancakes, to the Breakfast Burrito, to the (and I'm not exaggerating this last one) best sausage gravy in the History of the Universe, you will not have a bad meal at the Blue Moon.

Just don't go on the days I'm going. I don't want to wait.

This place is so COOL! I LOVE there Cap'n crunch french toast and there HUGE creamy cinnamon rolls. I took mine to go. They are packed BUT worth the wait. The staff is down to earth which is ALSO a plus. The decor is very artistic and creative too. I plan on taking my relatives here when they come up for a visit. I can't wait to go back for more YUMMY french toast and cinnamon rolls!

The breakfast burritos are to die for!!! Don't worry if you can't get a seat. Just get them "to go" and take them home or to the office. If the weather is nice you can find an outdoor spot somewhere along the water. Then you can walk off the calories on the promenade. (If you're eating on the run better check that they have plastic utensils or take your own - I've always enjoyed mine at the office).

You can refrigerate/freeze the leftovers (which you will probably have b/c these things are
h-u-g-e).

Blue Moon sports extremely tasty, creative and home-made breakfasts in Fell's Point -- one of the hippest restored historic neighborhoods in the country. Come hungry because the portions are HUGE -- basically you can forget about eating lunch. They have breakfast standards like bacon & eggs and pancakes but also a bunch of non-standard (at least for Baltimore) dishes like chorizo & eggs and huevos rancheros, reflecting the owners California roots. Specialties include ultra-fresh fruit smoothies, fresh biscuits and jam and impossibly huge cinnamon rolls. The decor is artsy and first-rate. The only downside is that the place has become so popular that it's nearly impossible to get a seat, especially on weekends.
