If you want a classic greasy-spoon breakfast in a clean, pleasant setting, the Windmill is the place to go. Super-low-priced specials are available daily until about 11am; with coffee added, you can dine lightly for about $4. Heartier appetites will appreciate the omelettes, while lighter ones will be satisfied with the tasty muffins and cinnamon rolls. The food isn't remarkable, but the prices are good and you'll have the pleasure of eating with the locals.

Homemade cinnamon rolls, egg add-ins, and homemade bread say it all. The Windmill has a solid diner atmoshpere evocative of times past, with a delicious, creative, and diverse menu such as the huge homemade cinnamon roll for only $1.25. One of the best places in Holland for breakfast of the pancake, egg, 'n hash brown variety.
