My wife and I have frequented Polly's, only for breakfast, nearly once a week since opening.
- Coffee is very good - their own medium roast
- Cinnamon roles are very good - baked fresh throughout the day
- Oatmeal is very good, but after 11am can be dry or mushy or even cold... at least they will replace it with something else - just ask.
- pancakes and waffles are good, but syrup is not real maple for those who care.
- Egg dishes are average (not sure about quiche... never tried it). But they do make their own breads for toast - these are all very good, and they make their own berry jam which is also very good.

Service has always been and continues to be variable. Some waitresses are great and others are clueless. It seems that Polly's has a "no fire" policy to go along with their "no training" policy, as nothing ever changes.

On the weekends you can expect a wait for breakfast and lunch of up to 30 minutes.

I find it odd that so many appear to be looking for all of the complimentary things. If you can afford to go out and eat, please do then if not head down to IHOP and have that mess. The food and service that I have received out of the 30 odd times that I have gone here in the past 60 days has been excellent and the food was what it was, good. Please remember this is not the Palm in Beverly Hills, It's not even Jaxx in Yorba Linda. It's good food for the money and the service for me has been excellent.

Our complaint is only about the waitress we had.
I don't think she has been trained how to start with a customer, and finish with a customer. After eating we ordered desert and she kept working with other new customers and finally I saw her eye to eye and see only then went and got " 1 slice of pie", why it took her 20 minutes we have no idea, when she brought the "1" slice she never appolized or said anything, she just dropped the plate down and walked away. We never said anything to her regarding this, so for her behavior, that was un called for. She is just a "Bad Waitress". but I am sure their are great ones in there somewhere!
Best place we found "Hopping" is "BETTY FAYES CAFE" in Corona off main street by the old Mervyns store(now Burlington)it gets crowed but really good and very friendly....

When this Polly's opened it was very busy as people were thrilled to have something new. It wore off quickly due to your pricing and bad service.

If you lowered your prices you might have the crowds back. It's definitely not value for money, and there are many other local restaurants that give good service, good food, and reasonable prices. Unfortunately you are not one of them.

I read the other reviews and had to check the address to make sure they were about the same restaurant. We've been there twice and the food, service and coffee refills were terrific. I actually thought they were trying to overdo it with the constant "do u need more coffee" and "is everything ok". Yes we had to wait for about 10 mins to get a table but everything else was excellent. A bit pricey but definitely worth every penny.

Attractive & clean BUT service is atrocious from the time you walk in the door! Had to ask for complimentary coffee, then again for creamer, then for the CUPS too!! Never mind the empty basket of bakery samples. The woman manager was overwhelmed and it really wasn't that busy! My wife and her mother said their eggs were cold. I asked for my fruit on the side for my waffles but they were spilled all over my plate when she brought them. We had to ask our HOSTESS and OTHER SERVERS for coffee which when we finally got it was excellent! We will go back again BUT please retrain or TRAIN the MANAGERS and EMPLOYEES!

Taste wise everything was good just address the chaos and everything will improve %100!

I went twice but the spinash quiche was over cooked somewhat burnt and dry--second time I had the barbeque chicken sandwich which was horrible-pieces of dry chicken like leftovers loaded with barbeque sauce! result horrible-they should delete that concoction..awful....

I love Polly's for lunch and dinner, but not for their breakfast. Breakfast-wise nothing jumps out at me as being better than average, and the scrambled eggs were simply rubbery. I give them credit for their hospitality and cute dining area, as well as some nice pies, etc. But I won't eat breakfast there.

Large breakfast menu - but only till 11 ;-( (most polly's serve breakfast 'till 2)

Great cinnamon rolls, pancakes, waffles, omelets, oatmeal, and specials. Very busy - typical 30+ minute wait on weekends.
