The owner has a fun place, you will leave with a smile on your face and will want to go to Knights Diner over and over again! Great coffee, food and friendly people!

I brought a friend of mine from Seattle to eat breakfast at Knights and the waitress started singing to the music that was there and he asked me: "do people always sing over their breakfast in Spokane?" Well they don't--even at Knights. But Knight's is a trip, in my opinion better than Franks (their bacon is better).

i would go to the diner for hamburgers with my parents in the mid 1950's. It was probably the best burger I have ever eaten. My last visit was about 25 years ago, bit the burgers were still tops. I hope it has continued the ttradition.

I have been frequenting Knight's Diner for decades. I used to eat there when it was located on Division Street in Spokane before they widened the road and forced Knight's to move to it's current location.

If you want an authentic American Diner experience inside an old rail-car, Knights is for you!

Knight's Diner is a converted railroad car up on a hill. It is small, tiny even, and that sometimes leads to a bit of a wait - however in the times I've been there I've rarely needed to wait more than a few minutes.

Seating is diner style, stools along the length of the car. The food preparation is done right there and while you can't quite reach over and test the griddle with your finger, it is close. Part of the charm of the diner is that you get to watch the cooking up so close.

The food is excellent - not fancy, but good plain food prepared well. I particularly like the Corned Beef Hash and the pancakes with berries are also delicious.

The coffee is acceptable restaurant coffee and refils are frequent.
