The Waffle Barn in ROseville has the most outstanding servers...My beverages are always full and I love the fast service. Keep up the wonderful work. I have yet to try the new dinner menu but I cannot wait! I am sorry to see that Lincoln is no longer affiliated...but I dont mind the extra 5 minute commute to your Roseville location!

This is for the Waffle Barn in Carmichael. We just visited this morning and the food was good, but the customer service and friendliness of the staff was beyond pathetic. The hostess was extrememly rude to us, very much lacking any sense of common courtesy.

We visited the Lincoln location. Pleased, well served, and well fed. Nice presenation and high quality ingredients. Chicken fried steak was above average (Venita Rhea's is the gold standard in my search so far) and I'd go back again. Meals had by others in the party were

The restaurant is usually very clean and nice. My family and I go there 2 or 3 times a month to eat and it is excellant food. Some of the servers are forgetful, but that's anywhere.

What just confused and irritated me was I just tried to call in to pick up an order for my sick wife and daughter and the woman who answered the phone said they don't do to go orders on weekends. I realize they are busy, but what's the difference between cooking to go and eating there? So if you're eating there and some people next to you are caughing and sneezing next to you, sorry we tried to get it to go.

This place has THE BEST waffles EVER! I LOVE this place. I usually don't go out for breakfast becuase it's usually greasy and I feel like a ton of bricks walking out of most places, but Waffle Barn is way better. I feel full but not stuffed and enjoy the food so so much!

Overall one of the BEST places around for service and quality of food. I've been going to the Roseville Waffle Barn for a year or more now and not once have I ever had a complaint. Great folks, great food, excellent coffee... what else can one wish for.

Let me start off by admitting that the service may be more inconsistent than rotten, but I will let you decide if you visit.
The server screwed up my order. I had asked for a combo & another waffle dish. She only brought me part of the combo, and only one of the waffles. I was due soon for work, so I didn't argue over this. During my dining, the server did not once return to see how I was doing. She ignored me until she gave my bill. My bill charged me for a specialty waffle and a bunch of sides. I was overcharged and unhappy.
It is true that the prices are lower than comparable restaurants, but the portions are smaller than most. And the sides were poorly presented (anemic bacon and miniature eggs).
I will not return to the Wafflebarn.

Did you know the average chicken lays 1.3 eggs per day? Trivia such as this can be found on the tables with Kings memorabilia everywhere at this family-oriented inexpensive breakfast and lunch place (filled with seniors from Sun City too). The waffles are the best choice and many combo specials come with them. The portions are large and prices small. Most breakfasts come with choice of hash browns or country potatoes (slices fried with green pepper and onions); and toast or hugh and filling biscuits and gravy. They have a $3.95 ham and eggs special on weekdays (not on menu) that is an outstanding deal. The food is not to greasy and service prompt. The place is always packed. Just go once and you'll find out why. Not a hugh variety, not the best in town, but the best value for breakfast in town.
