Very busy place! seemed as though every table was occupied. Therefore, waitress took 10 minutes to greet us at our table,then another 5 minutes to bring our coffee while waiting for our meal. Someone (who is obviously not a "country boy") said the biscuits & gravy was good. I was raised in the hills of Kentucky. Believe me, the gravy really sucked. The eggs came the way I ordered, the lyonnaise potatoes were somewhat dry and tasteless. Finally, do not order a muffin! Supposedly, they are made on the premises. If so, they should fire the baker. They were hard, dry, and (once again) tasteless. I guess you can't believe everything you read. We will definitely NOT go there again!
note:we had a "to go" menu that they had up front. Their menu prices DO NOT match it (they are higher), yet they are still using them.

I moved from Huntington Beach 18 years ago. It's great to see that Jon's Coffee Shop is still going. It was very good then too!

Jon's of Huntington Harbour, the classic breakfast place... they also serve lunch and dinner. Enjoy a booth, or sit at the lunch counter, for the great eggs and French toast. The wait staff are the folks in Hawaiian shirts. Opens at 6 am every day! Many regulars-- some people come to Jon's for breakfast every day. Also a small outside patio. Really great coffee. Don't forget to say hi to the turtles in the fountain.
