I rated the price cheap because it was included in my room rate at the hotel. I did see that they were also open to the public, and the price seemed extremely reasonable for what you get. The buffet had a lot to offer. The sausage (which I'm told is organic) was the best I ever had. My server was extremely friendly.

I saw these comments and was compelled to write and concur. If you haven't experienced this gem in what is also a great hotel, then you must. My husband and I have been coming to the Admiral Fell Inn for years and this is the best it's been. And one of the best things about it is their superb breakfast. We can't wait to go back! It was simply amazing. The people at this place may very well be the friendliest I've encountered. The food was simply delicious. Our group will be back.

Wow. I could not believe the abundance of offerings at this place. Their credo is to be TRUE to certain ideals (True to the region by partnering with local farms, True to the seasons by offering only the freshest food and True to healthy lifestyles by offering food that is good for you - including some that is organic). They should add True to delivering great experiences, because it was the whole package (service, ambiance, decor, the storytelling, and certainly the GREAT FOOD) that makes this place special. I stayed at the hotel this restaurant is located in for particular reasons, but when I go back those reasons will include this superior breakfast experience, which also incorporates character 'ghosts' (the hotel is an historic one) that share interesting stories about the food, the hotel and the local community. The selection of organic cheeses were excellent, the organic granola was the best I've ever had and the asparagus crepes I have pleasant dreams of to this day.
