Maybe things have changed since the other reviews, but I tried this restaurant based on the other reviews. This was by far the worst breakfast I have had in Kalamazoo in the 8 years I have lived here. That may be why in those 8 years no one I have spoke to has ever mentioned this as a go to place for breakfast.
The biscuits and gravy were horrible, the biscuits were doughy and chewy like frozen biscuits. They gravy was call sausage gravy, but they will little bits that tasted like corned beef hash. The toast had a spot of butter in the middle, it was never spread on the bread. The eggs were over done, and the waitress was not attentive.
The cups were ole and chipped around the rims, they basically looked like people had been chewing on all of them. We needed an extra set of silverware, that after ten minutes of not being brought we went and grabbed them off another table. The only people that received decent service were the regulars who are all in their 70's, probably why they don't notice how horrible the food is. It was not family friendly, my two year old clapped and said "yay" when they brought his doughy pancakes, and all the near by staff and customer gave him a dirty look. The entire place has a dirty feel and we will never go back. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Kalamazoo, that this place should not even be an option.

I have been to this restaurant countless times and infact im going there this morning, I have never had any complaints about anything from them. the food is always great they have the best omelets you can imagine and they have a very broad selection too :)

They really push the coffee here. Your cup will never get below 1/2 full. Food is very good. We highly recommend the Greek Omelete. They are FAST which is good. The waitresses are all personable and friendly. There is a clear seperation between smoking and non-smoking. Have never had to wait for a table, even on a busy Sunday morning.
Check them out if you haven't already.
