The food is horrible. Had the Huevos Ranchero. Black beans were extremely runny and the salsa was the worst I have ever tasted. The rest of my party hated their meals too. I don't know why anyone waits an hour to eat here. I won't ever again.

This place is a staple. Yeah, the wait can be long, but it is totally worth it. Pesto tofu scramble is amazing (even carnivores dig it) and any place that offers mimosas is down with me.

The combination of the non-pretentious tattooed, pierced and extremely nice wait staff along with the yummy breakfast/brunch options for vegetarians and carnivors alike make this hip Mission eatery a super great place to feed your face! There's always a wait but that just makes you hungrier for whatever is on the menu. Good free strong coffee is available for consumption while you wait. Great place to bring out of towners to show them the flavor of this city.

a fantastic restaraunt expecially for all you vegetarians. their biscuts and herb gravy are to die for. also there are plenty of "fake meat" options. it is crowded, so sometimes there is a wait but free cups of coffee make the wait nicer. great crowd and the wait staff are sooo nice...

Ever-popular with the hipster crowd, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Eggs are unevenly cooked and unceremoniously plopped onto the plate, toast is soggy and cold and hash browns ("temple o' spuds") are heaped high but lacking in flavor.

There's usually a wait, which gives you a chance to stand around outside quaffing their burnt, bitter coffee and absorbing the bracing Mission air.

The wait staff are generally friendly but not the most attentive souls (especially once you've finished your meal and want the check). The decor is ratty and uninteresting and the tables are really close together (makes for good eavesdropping). Music varies widely, but it's never interfered with my digestion.

My southern-born SO loves the biscuit and vegetarian gravy, and even though I'm a yankee I do have to admit their biscuits are pretty darned tasty. But the rest leaves me hungry for better food and better service.
