Older family diner with excellent value. Blueberry pancakes are consistently excellent, but egg dishes / home fries tend to be average. Coffee is weak.

Since my last review two great things have happened to the diner. First Rhode Island has mandated a no smoking law in restaurants. Second, The Middle of Nowhere Diner has been voted "Best Omelet's in Rhode Island". It's definetly a place to try. You won't go away hungry.

The biggest omelets I've ever had. I didn't think I was going to finish it. They advertise 4+ eggs, but I had their Neil's Special. It had to have at least half a dozen to make this omelet. It comes with 13 different items in the omelet. Different vegtables, meats and cheeses. They also add a generous pile of home fries. My wifes Mushroom and cheese omelet was just as big with large button mushrooms. Good coffee and a friendly waitress staff. Great place to hear the locals talk about their day. Can't beat the price for what you get.
Down side: Rhode Island does not yet have a no smoking law in their restaurants. Though no one light up while we were there, the potential is there. It would have ruined a wonderful breakfast expieriance.

Award Nomination: Best Bargin Breakfast
