Best breakfast anywhere! Friends visiting from Guam look forward to eating here every time they come to visit... as do all our visiting friends. Too bad they had to move. Have they reopened some where else? Sure hope so! We've been looking, but have found it.

Excellent restaurant, but unfortunately it has now been bulldozed in the name of Progress. WADOT is building a new highway where the Valley Cafe once stood.

The owners haven't decided if they want to rebuild in a new location or not. Hopefully they will!

We love the ham and eggs here, hashbrowns and toast, my husband and I have to share one order and thats all we can eat. Can't beat it, if you're hungry for a good breakfast you can find it here, providing you can get a seat, usually very crowded on the week ends or when any special events are going on around Mt. Vernon. Worth the wait.

Breakfast special is the best ever. I dare you to finish it. Chicken fried steak (CFS) and eggs. Comes w/ hashbrowns, toast and three eggs. If you think you're tough then get the biscuit instead of toast and a side of gravy for it. Comes on a platter, the CFS covers half the platter and two of the three eggs. The hashbrowns take up a good third of the platter. Now these aren't the paper thin crappy browns either, they are an inch thick or better. I suggest extra gravy for the browns too, but your taste may differ, I just love gravy.
