The Food Basket used to be outstanding. The food is now just average. It really needs a major overhaul in it's decor.

The restaurant is now officially managed by the son.

The Food Basket has been open since the 60's and still serves up the very best southern style breakfast within a 50 mile radius of Sand Mountain. Their specialty is country ham and it is DELICIOUS!!
