Still the best eggs benedict, pancakes & french toast (weekend specials) in RI, if not New England or anywhere for that matter. Skip the basic eggs & omelets - they tend to be overcooked. Home fries and coffee are also quite mediocre.

Must visit Fri - Sun for the specials (awesome), otherwise, probably not worth the trip.

Staff is not very friendly. Long wait for mediocre food at best. Also, cleanliness does not seem to be a priority.

This place is a classic. Fantastic breakfast, every time I've been there. Try the special omelet with the caramelized onions. Seriously. Plus, it's in a cool old diner car. What's better than that?

The most disgusting place I've ever been to eat, EVER!! The repulsive smell of urine as you come in makes your stomach turn 10 times before the waitress actually hands you the menu. The floors and walls are covered in a durty crust: this place probably hasn't been cleaned or maintained since they first opened for service.
The food was mediocre, I had the buttermilk pancakes which were fluffy and tasty. The service was super quick...thank God for that, because I couldn't stand being in that dump for another 10 minutes!

Classic diner fare in a quaint New England style diner. Outstanding selections on weekends that will rival any fine restaurant, but at reasonable pricing.
Stuffed french toast & garnished pancakes are excellent. Weekend menu is not typically found elsewhere, at least at this quality.

Great stuffed French toast. They use edible orchids on some of the plates, it creates a nice garnish. Really worth the wait. Lots of menu options and the coffee is really good.

Great breakfast food with great low prices to boot! They have all the ol' diner standbys, plus fantastic creative specials (a friend of mine swears by the strawberry stuffed french toast). The place is tiny, so there is always a wait on the weekends. My only wish is that it was open 24/7!
