The people there are amazing and the food is delicious. It is not too expensive and you get a lot for your money. If I could I would go to the Red Arrow every day.

In all honesty, rating breakfast food is kind of pointless.. how do you screw up eggs homefries and bacon?

that being said, I was there last week for lunch and got the meatloaf with mac and cheese. The meatloaf tasted like slim jims ((odd, maybe an msg combingation with spices?)) and the mac and cheese had less flavor than kraft in a box.

the chowder was ok, sweet potato fries were good ((but again, how do you screw up fries?? cut em', fry em', serve em'))

food was ok, the waitresses knew everyone and were so friendly, but not a place I'd seek out.

I ordered a rather simple breakfast eager to try what everyone told me was an amazing restaurant and i was not impressed. The homefries were cold and the eggs were nothing like how i ordered them. The restaurant is small and rather run down as well as the waitresses who were kind of rude. because of its location it fills up with drunk people at night on the weekends and i must say thats the only way i'll ever eat there again.

The Red arrow is a wonderful place to be. The waitress' are all extremely nice and as long as you don't mind the old diner feel it's wonderful. The food is awesome especially the breakfast! You may have to wait for a seat on a busy night but it is worth the wait!

This place is a dump. You can sit at the counter or at a table in front of the rest rooms. Very small and you usually have to wait for a seat. Multiple crimes have occurred in front of this place including a shooting, not the best part of town. The food is edible, that's the best I can say for it. I observed the cook use the restroom and never heard the sink used to wash his hands, your are that close that you can hear the sink in the restroom. I will never figure the mystic of this place because to me it's a dump.

Nice location with an easy walk right off Elm St.
The owner's sister owns the Belmont Hall so if you're looking for the best breakfast in town, with a nice atmosphere and beautifully remodeled restrooms, go there.

Pork pie is very good and specials are delicious too. Long long wait to get food so don't go hungry. Miss the "cretons benadict" as well as being able to purchase the spread to take home. Looking for the recipe from the gal that made it for them. She's hired if I find her. Waitress didn't know anything. Kitchen is not very clean and everyone has to pass thru it to use the one and only toilet in a tiny little room. Wouldn't return from seeing this, right near the cooks!

The Red Arrow Diner is a rather fine example of a New England greasy spoon diner.

Two things make the Red Arrow stand out: first of all, unlike 95% of New England which serves "Home Fries" (fried potato chunks), the Red Arrow actually serves hash browns (shredded potatos). And they do them well, including combinations topped with cheese, ham, onion, and all sorts of other wonderful heart-stopping tastiness (anyone who's been to a Waffle House knows the virtues of hashbrowns---and the Red Arrow has the best in NH).

They also have some of the finest cream pies to be found anywhere.
