After purchasing a few items in the grocery section while getting breakfast at Braum's on Harrison in Shawnee, I was shocked to be hit with a rank smell when I opened the container of cole slaw. The due date was thirteen days over-due. Then I checked the due date on the brisket with sauce I had purchased and discovered that the due date was over a month over-due. I did not expect this at Braum's. Other than the fact that this is totally unacceptable in any way, I am undergoing cancer treatment and eating any of this food could potentially kill me. If this is the level of competence in food management in the grocery section, is it the same in the restaurant? I will never set foot in a Braum's again and I will never recommend it to anyone. Beware!

On a Monday night 8:30pm. 12-3-07.Got milk and cottage cheese and then went to go and order some food and I was told no, you can check out over at the grocery, then when I got over there I asked for a number 2 without onions, then I was told by the young lady she was new and didn't know how to do that. Then Amanda come over to help after Amanda told me to go over there in the first place. Then I was over charged. Then a lady was argueing with me telling me I got all that I needed, but I told her I was short fries, she said you only ordered one, I said no. I got 2 combo's, (everybody knows you get two set of fries right.
Does anybody know what's wrong with this?????

I am a BIG fan of Braums. They have a large selection of ice cream, so you can get a different flavor each time. They also have cheap prices, but you get great quality products for your money. I, personally, love their milk. It is very delicious, and I get it often. They also keep the store pretty clean, so when I go in I never have to worry about the cleanliness.

My first job ever was for Braum's back in the 80's as a teenager. They didn't have half the stuff they do now. I do know that they have some of the best quality products you can find. They are one of the only dairys in the world that processes their milk the way they do which makes it better than any other you can find. Sure they aren't perfect but neither are you!!! We didn't even have a drive through and that store still doesn't. get a life-some people are so ignorant.I now live in Houston and we don't have Braums here:( We have the over priced chains like Baskin Robbins, etc. You can't beat Braums quality or prices for real Ice Cream!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you serious about being mad because you can't get your groceries out of a drive-thru window?!? How lazy are you? The comment that you can just swing by Homeland and PARK just adds to the fact that you just want to whine! The reason that you can't get your groceries though the drive thru is for health reasons, if you are interested, you can contact your Oklahoma Department of Health and thank your legislative body for that new law. Now, for the comment about the corporation sucking, that is null and void! These corporate people make sure that you get the best quality that Oklahoma has to offer. Not any other state. So be proud when you buy your groceries from Braum's, they are helping your community. As for your laziness, maybe you should lay off the ice cream, it's making you too fat to walk to the door.

"Thank you for choosing Braums how can we help you?" "Uh, yeah, I need 3 gallons of whole milk, 2 pound cakes, and a double dip of chocolate chip on a waffle cone." "I'm sorry we are no longer allowed to serve grocery items through our drive thru, but I'll be happy to get that double dip for you" "What the hell!? Why would you do that? Thats stupid! I'm going to Dillons, you can just shove that double dip!" Yeah, Hi, I've been behind customers in the drive thru line to hear that more than a couple times, I'm going through for a meal, not my grocery list. I believe Braums is a quality food establishment thats only problem is poor corporate management. I have had friends who work there who dread the "4 gallons of milk" order because Who Honestly Shops For Groceries Through A Drive Thru? Don't you want to check for better expiration dates? See for yourself that you didn't get the fattiest bacon, or that all the eggs are in good standing? I believe it is Truly Lazy for people to whine and complain, let along cuss the 16 year old on the headset out for you being too lazy to pick out your own product. This nation has an obesity problem and this may help a bit. Plus to all those "Well I'll just go to Dillons then!" People....they don't have a drive thru either. Thanks.

I have always been a big fan of Braums until I arrived at the drive-thru the other day and was met by a sign that read, "no more grocery items sold in drive thru." I spend at least $50 per month on grocery items using the drive thru window at Braums. It is all about the convenience to the working mom and commuter. Now that Braums has decided that the "convenience shopper" is not important to its business, I will go elsewhere. Your chart should include a scale of convenience. In the past, I would have rated Braums the highest for convenience. Now you are the lowest. I can just swing into Homeland on my way home, park, and get the entire array of foods and products for the same convenience that Braums offers me. You just lost a market share. While my $50 might not mean a lot, I am certain that I am not the only one out there who at one time had you rated at the top of their convenience scale and now will choose to boycott your establishment.
